How to make your Windows Mobile device look like an iPhone

I’ve decided to try and put together as comprehensive of a guide as I can. After doing some searching and finding guides that were a year out of date, or ones that required purchasing software I felt that it was necessary to provide a guide that utilizes free and current software.

This guide will be a work in progress as I myself work through trying and tweaking my device to match the best of what the iPhone has to deliver. This guide is far from complete but I will try my best to make it a useful resource for those who have Windows Mobile devices and want to make them more touch friendly, mimicking the iPhone interface.

I plan on developing this using my AT&T tilt, so this will be the base you can start from, this should work with other touch devices, but I can’t guarantee 100% accuracy.

Goals

  • Use 100% free software
  • Work under Windows Mobile 6 (5 if possible)
  • Touch screen only for starters
  • Mimic as much of the iPhone as possible
  • Use apps that are finger friendly

The how to instructions have not been written yet, but I plan to add steps as I work through the process.
