So I’m a big fan of the whole concept of a Media Center PC.  I currently have an old Mac Mini working as my Media PC, Frontrow cuts it for me currently, but I also crave some of the goodness of other software that is out there.  Now I’ve followed XBMC somewhat when it first came on the scene, I was happy when there was a Mac Port only to have my hopes dashed when it was a Intel Mac version only.

The new XBMC Atlantis has versions currently available for Windows, Mac and Linux, granted once again Intel only, but I’m really tempted to give it a try using my Windows box and see what it has to offer.  Right now its very alpha, and unstanble, I’ve heard of folks not getting too far with it, but your mileage may differ.  Guess it all boils down to the hardware.

So I’m a big follower of the new mobile devices that get released and it seems the first Android phone is going to be on T-Mobile, the device itself is manufactured by HTC, who make just about every reasonable SmartPhone device out there.

So I’ve spent many hours figuring out blogging, what makes it popular, why people do it, how do you get popular, why people like what they like and after all that I’m not really any better off than when I started.  I’ve tried to create multiple blogs on multiple topics and ended up getting nowhere.  I tried to blog about what I do for a living, about what might be interesting to other people, what might be interesting to me and found that firstly it was hard to post on these topics, mostly because a) I don’t want to blog about my job or what I program, b) If i’m not interested in it, unlikely I will blog about it and c) What I thought was interesting to me wasn’t really.

So what does it all mean, I’ve decided to blog about whatever I feel like at the time, it could be anything from hey thats a really cool cell phone, to I think the whole McCain vs Obama is getting tiresome and lets move on to something else.  This blog is going to be my outlet, my thoughts and what I find interesting and amusing and if someone likes it, great, I think my sense of humor will shine through and you never know some folks might pick up on that.  So if you are reading this, be prepared for anything….
