Ah the problem is I no longer work on this, since I no longer work for AccuWeather, however I suspect that might eventually release an International version.

what about the multilanguage version? I have an italian version of Windows Vista and I have the same problem: in the windows sidebar nothing happened

Just like Henry I installed the Accuweather gadget on my Sidebar but see nothing. I even installed it a couple of times. It does appear in the settings.ini in the windows sidebar directory, even more than once when you repeat the install because you think nothing happened. But I still see nothing. What can be wrong?

This could possibly be caused by the localization of the Gadget. If you are running a language different than US-en then that could be your problem, we are working on multi lingual version.

I just installed the mini version of this gadget today, and for the life of me I can’t seem to set the zip code right. It just keeps returning to State College - a fine place, don’t get me wrong, but knowing the weather there is like knowing the show times for Broadway musicals; handy if you happen to be in State College but otherwise totally pointless. I have to reckon there’s some sort of bug that is preventing me from changing the zip, since the feature seems to be built right in, but not functioning properly even after several reinstalls and reboots. Anywho. If I ever move to State College I imagine this will be pretty handy. Until then, I’ll wait until I don’t have to dig around some config file just to adjust the weather report. You don’t need a weatherman to tell you which way the wind’s a blowin’ after all…

Hi, I have installed this gadget on my Windows Vista Sidebar, but I see nothing. I mean there is no Accuweather gadget in my sidebar. What can be wrong? Thanks.

Sorry it took you a while to find them on the AccuWeather.com. I think the promotion is still low key, another place to look is the Windows Live Gallery.

To change the location click on the little gear icon, it should open a flyout allowing you to search for a new location.
